Crickhowell is a small, historic town located in the valley of the River Usk near the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are some attractive Georgian buildings and the ruins of a castle stands in the town`s park. On Table Mountain above the town are the remains of an Iron Age hillfort while to the west is the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
