The National Sea Life Centre and the National Indoor Arena are about ten miles away, as is the centre of Birmingham and the many shops and attractions that can be found there. The hotel is situated in an outlying district of the city offering a slightly quieter and more tranquil environment in which to stay than the centre of a massive urban project like Birmingham.
