The hotel is just off the A1(M) at Junction 64 and close to the A19, on the western side of the city of Sunderland. The A19 connects the hotel with the cities of Middlesborough and further south to York. From the A1(M), follow the A1231 for Sunderland, crossing over the A19. At the forth roundabout turn right and the hotel is on the righthand side a little way down Timber Beach Road. The hotel is convenient for the Sunderland Stadium of Light football grouynd and the Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland.
