Opened in Autumn 2005, the Premier Travel Inn is situated close to the centre of Wakefield making is very suitable for visitors to the town wanting a central base. The hotel can be accessed from the M1 motorway at junction 41 via the A650 which also links it with the town centre of Wakefield around 1 1/2 miles down the road. There is a Brewers Fayre restaurant alongside the hotel and opposite is a Bannatynes health club. The M62 motorway is around 3 miles north connecting at J29.
